Xbox One controller charge kit and headset details

4.3
With the new console arriving in November, Microsoft have released details on the Play and charge kit, and also the new Microphone that has been established.

The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB adapter that plugs into the Xbox One. This lets you charge the controller while playing your game, or when the console is in sleep/standby mode.

The Microphone contains pitch perfect wideband audio, and lets you mute or adjust the volume without having to take your hands off of your controller. There has been no confirmation about the microphone being included with the console yet. It was included with the 1st generation Xbox 360 back when it was released.

ExoticWolfs I still hate how people are saying connecting to the internet ONCE every 24 HOURS is hard... anybody on here can do it so I don't see what the problem is.

I can't wait for both of the systems, it will be interesting to see who wins.

I agree, If anyone has connection so bad that they can't connect at least once every 24 hours they need to get better internet

This is very true, If your on TTG that means you have internet. whats the big deal?

The people on here that complain about the Internet 24/7 thing. If you can get on ttg every day to post then you can let your Xbox connect to the Internet

BOMB-OMB I still can't believe they're keeping those unnecessary battery packs.

Look at it this way, you could have a built in battery pack that could run out at some point or have replaceable one that can be swapped out with a fresh one instead of having to plug in the cable during long gaming sessions AND over time batteries tend to deteriorate. So in reality it's a better option.

Besides, I am pretty sure you don't have to spend an hour trying to get through signing in every 24 hours. I think you don't even have to do anything actually, it just does a little check without disturbing you. I think.

I do honestly think that the Xbox One does have more technology. I love how the controller turns off when you let go of it. Not only does it save your battery, but it saves you money as well. It has so many technological advances. Besides I don't care about there being a touch screen on the controller. I personally feel like your hands would be seven inches apart ,( not really 7 inches ) now put your hands seven inches apart. Now imagine playing Club Penguin Playstation 4 Edition. Your on a cliff. Your hands are so far apart that mess up and you fall off of it and die, slowly and painfully. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA jk. Anyways you get my point. But hey who knows, maybe it will end up being an awesome controller!

TheBigLebowski you probably have to hook the controller up to the internet or it wont work

It's sad all Sony fan boys have to talk **** about it connecting online every 24 hours, when 90% of the people are connected anyways when they are playing.

They might not all be Sony fanboys, they could very much be Microsoft fanboys who are displeased with the Xbox One.

I still don't get why people hate it the things the always online is going to be used for is fantastic but w/e floats your boat

I hate that if it doesnt connect to the internet its a $500 paper weight, I can still use my pc if it doesnt have internet. Yes I am connected to the internet but there are times here and there the net goes down, then what I cant even play my xbox??

Then go the F.UCK outside then for crying out loud!

I do remember hearing it connects once per 24 hours and if no connection is established it will try once a hour until it gets a connection.

But still if your internet goes out and you would like to play offline you can't after those 24 hours pass.

I'm not that much of a gamer anymore so this truly isn't an issue for me.

I also have my computer for when the same event occurs considering I only play my 360 online
