Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Texturepack Support Coming Title Update 12

It seems after along time waiting 4j studios have shed some light on Minecraft Xbox 360 edition texturepacks. While minecraft has just passed 7 million copies sold on the console version 4j studios have been responding to some tweets from fans.

When a fan who goes by the name of DukeOfNukes asked 4j studios if they're still working on texturepacks 4j studios replied with the following "@xXDukeOfNukesXx Yes we are. We'll have support for texture packs in TU12" This leaving fans shocked but even more excited about title update 12, whether we're going to see them added in this update still isn't confirmed but it's a push in the right direction.

If texture packs can run smoothly on the PC version of Minecraft they should be able to run smoothly on the Xbox 360 version also.


Well it all depends on what mod you are using on PC and which Texture Pack you are using. Some machines may run one thing smooth as others may not. So I predict the texture packs people are used to are going to be dumbed down and not look as good as on PC.

Of course! All it is is being able to change the terrain.png

Zer0 videos of xbox 360 texture packs on youtube are from j tags as said in the video can be done already


yeah seem quite a few of them videos, its good they are coming out for people without a jtag or rgh though, when i saw a video a couple months ago, i kinda knew they were coming out, it was just when was the question.
