Xbox promo allows players to obtain unlimited Microsoft Point codes

4
Halifax based Scotiabank is running a promotion that rewards Canadian players with free Microsoft Points just for watching a quick video advertisement. The promotion is limited to one use per Xbox Live account, however, we have found that simply creating a new account allows you to complete the promotion again.

Follow these simple instructions to redeem your free Microsoft Points.

1. Create a new Xbox Live Silver account. If you're not Canadian, you will need to change your locale. Your locale can be changed through System Settings -> Console Settings -> Language & Locale -> Locale -> Canada.

2. On the dashboard, scroll to the "TV & Movies" section, and select the Scotiabank promotional banner.

3. Watch the video until it ends, and the first code for 100 Microsoft Points will appear.

4. Select "Get Points" from the white banner below, and you will be asked to enter your email address for another 100 Microsoft Points.

5. Enjoy your free Microsoft points

This process can be repeated multiple times, however, you will need to create a new Xbox Live account for every 200 Points you wish to redeem.

The Scotiabank promotion only keeps 11,500 codes in stock, so get them while they last!

VisionaryMGMT 100 msp isn't even worth the trouble of making new emails and profiles.

They don't have to be real e-mails. Just random letters. They took the promotion off of the dashboard anyways.

It all stacks up in the end though. Apparently some people ended up getting 10k+ Microsoft points.

I really doubt Microsoft will ban anyone who took advantage of this glitch!

a few years back there was another exploit to get free Microsoft points by simply changing the url by a few numbers people got thousands of Microsoft points doing it and no one was banned because Microsoft realized they were the ones that created the exploit and weren't going to banned players because they took advantage of it this is a similar situation so i doubt anyone will be banned

This is a really nice way to get MS points. I'd say at least half of the codes are gone now though. Thanks for sharing!

BallerStatus07 so i've heard people who have taken advantage of this are slowly getting banned ive heard it from one or two friends got banned but thats only cuz they took like 2k ms points

highly doubt this is true, I don't think anyone who done the "48h trial exploit" got banned.. They should of limited it to once per Xbox. People are obviously going to take advantage of it, it's like free money!

So are Japanese less important? No. It doesn't matter where it happens.
It's not like MS lost out, Scotiabank probably bought all them codes to then give out..

That was a Japanese one, this is Canadian and is around free MSP, the difference is vital because Microsoft will be much stricter.
