Battlefield 3 free on PlayStation Plus this week

PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Battlefield 3 for free after tomorrow's store update. Other free PS Plus games set aside for July include Jet Set Radio, Metal Slug XX, Dokuro and Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD.

PlayStation pals across the pond can add Battlefield 3 to their Instant Game collections sometime during July, though Sony Europe hasn't given a precise date yet. Saints Row: The Third, which wielded its purple dildo against Plus subscribers in North America last month, is also on the way to Europe.

PixL You have Sony giving away cool, new games, but Microsoft only give out sh*t games like Grid Defense, Spartacus and Fable 3. Why doesn't Microsoft just stop caring about making money and worry about how their customers feel!

fable 3 is the current one.. there are going to be new ones through the whole year. Also seems like playstation wants to copy xbox's ideas on the free games.


First off Fable 3 is over. Now it's some garbage arcade game. They said we would get Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 later. Which are not even close to as new as BF3. So MS is just giving us old games that most of us already have. Also you're an idiot because PS+ has been doing this for much longer. They really stepped up their game with BF3, I guess they want to beat Xbox's free games. Not too difficult when we get an arcade game.


:L who doesn't have BF3 seriously... at least with the arcade game i don't own it so i'm actually getting something i didn't already have same with fable 3

True that. Battlefield 3 is a great game and i would love to see more people playing. I never got the chance to play online as when i got the game i didn't have an online pass. I traded it in soon after due to this


You're missing out man. The online play is so much better than the campaign.

Battlefield 3 is much more fun than Call of Duty in my opinion.

And guess what? BF3 is 20$ at Gamestop. The game is 2 years old and it is now being free. It would be cool if they did it when BF3 was 60$.
