I think purchasing a $10 membership on play station plus is fair for these games.

Sure, BF3 is a big name game, but a lot of people already have the game, Fable 3 is a good game, and I had never even heard of the Spartacus game until it came up on my dashboard, and now I love the game.

Really guys, hop off your companies dcks, they're both giving their fanbase good games, just because one company gives a bigger game doesn't make them instantly better. Sony fanboys flocked to this article to basically say that this alone proves Sony is the superior company. This really doesn't prove sht, it's a free game, one you can buy used for 10, it's not as if they're handing out free consoles.

Kurumu Why is everyone caring so much about a free game? You can grab BF3 for like 5$. Also I personally think this entire free game a month crap is stupid. Like the people talking about how microsoft is giving old titles and other crap like that.

But honestly do you pay your subscription just for a free game? Probably not you pay it so that you can play with your friends in a better way. I honestly wouldn't care if Sony or MS stopped this because I don't find it necessary. What Sony should really focus on is getting map packs earlier, BO2 map pack out tomorrow, but not for the sony :P

First off BF 3 is at least $20 at gamestop or any gamestore. And are you really complaining about free games? I would just hate if I got games for free like saints row, deus ex, battlefield, little big planet, etc. How can free games be a bad thing especially when most gamers want to play the ones they give out for free.
While xbox does support cross party chat, which is the main reason I used to use mine, the ps4 is going to have that...so yeah ps3 was behind in that aspect. Also, sony cant do anything about the COD dlc until the contract runs out. Which I believe is sometime during ghosts (Might be wrong) and theirs no way in the world activision will be resigning that contract with MS.

Bf3 is currently 15$ at my wal-mart. I don't see what makes a difference with 5$, It's still a cheap game now
