Halo 4 is Microsoft Studios' best seller so far

Halo 4 is the "best-selling Microsoft Studios title ever in the U.S. market,*" performing better than Halo 3 did during its fiscal launch year, according to ol' Microsoft. That all-important asterisk denotes that claim as being "according to Microsoft retail sales sell-through data for each respective fiscal year."

Presumably, this means that Halo 4 has also outperformed other Microsoft Studios launches, such as Fable 3 or Forza Motorsport 4. It's no wonder, then, that Microsoft has decided to expand the Halo series' current "Reclaimer" trilogy into a "saga," a term that translates to "as many games as we feel like" or "why on Earth would we ever stop," depending on the dictionary you're using.

where is halo 2 anniversary ?


There's still chance, the anniversary isn't until next year!


I would love to see an anniversary edition of halo 2 for the Xbox 360. Halo 2 was my first FPS and got me into the single player aspect of it. I didn't have Xbox Live back then though


There will be one, that will most likely be the last anniversary, unless they feel the need to remake the full halo trilogy making it a sort of anniversary trilogy.


I couldn't picture there being a Halo 3 anniversary edition. I wouldn't mind one for Halo 2 though

It's possibly the best series ever, or one of them. If you weren't playing Halo during the wonder years, than you really missed out, especially Halo 3.

They announced Halo's 4 and 5 at an E3 expo in 2011 i think, and there were rumors of a Halo 2 Anniversary, which will be awesome because i love that game :D
