Halo 4 is Microsoft Studios' best seller so far

Halo 4 is the "best-selling Microsoft Studios title ever in the U.S. market,*" performing better than Halo 3 did during its fiscal launch year, according to ol' Microsoft. That all-important asterisk denotes that claim as being "according to Microsoft retail sales sell-through data for each respective fiscal year."

Presumably, this means that Halo 4 has also outperformed other Microsoft Studios launches, such as Fable 3 or Forza Motorsport 4. It's no wonder, then, that Microsoft has decided to expand the Halo series' current "Reclaimer" trilogy into a "saga," a term that translates to "as many games as we feel like" or "why on Earth would we ever stop," depending on the dictionary you're using.

I bought halo 4 loaded up the menu screen and didn't know what to do so I switched it off.

Well if you look at the amount of people who own an Xbox 360 now compared to the amount of people who owned one in Halo 3's prime it's not very surprising that much more copies have sold

I know, I didn't think this game would be it. I only played it once though and could care less for it. I wan't Halo 3 to come back. :)

Hopefully they make Halo 5 different. Maybe allowing up to 8 people to do the campaign mode?

No. Game development is an extremely hard and tedious process. It was a very well made game despite it changing a few things in the franchise which i personally liked.

Halo 3 is the better game in my opinion but i can't deny that Halo 4 was also a great game
