Fable Anniversary Contest - Design an Achievement!

For those of us eagerly awaiting the release of Fable Anniversary, Lionhead Studios has an extra treat in store. Here's your chance not only to create an achievement, but to have your name included in the credits of Fable Anniversary as well.

Entrants must create an achievement that is "no longer than 32 characters long (title), and 100 characters long (description)". The entries must focus on actions that players were able to carry out in the original versions of Fable / Fable: Lost Chapters. You must be very quick because entries must be posted to Lionhead's forum thread before 11:59PM BST (GMT +1) on Sunday July 14th 2013. All of the official contest rules are there too.

Lionhead executives will narrow the entries down to five before opening those up to voting on their Facebook page; voting will begin on July 15th and last for a week. If your achievement is chosen, in addition to being listed in the credits, you will receive a copy of the game, a Fable Anniversary T-Shirt, and a set of E3 badges and pins.

Fable Anniversary is expected to release this holiday season.

Hated and still hate this game... Well the 1st one was good 2nd one sucked and 3rd one looks bad.

The best achievements are hard to earn in my opinion. You get that extra feeling of satisfaction once you actually complete it that way

ShadowBoltDashie I didn't even know they were making another Fable game ._. I've been kinda slow with the gaming news recently.

It's Fable 1 HD. It was the best in the series. Also if it was a whole new game then how would they make achievement based off a game they never played before? Unless it was a very broad one like just get kills.

Anyways this is a pretty cool idea. Can't wait to see what the achievement will be.


Fable 1 was a great game yet the aging system kind of killed it for me. I really hope that they fix it up with the new one. I may submit an achievement along the lines of doing something or beating the game before or at a certain age


I have never even touched a Fable game. A few of my friends have played it so I'll ask them how the game plays out for the most part and maybe consider giving it a try.


If you are going to approach the series i recommend starting with Fable 2. You can pick it up at Game Stop for around $10 (Get the Game of the year edition if they are stocking it as you get all the DLC for free) and it's the best game in the franchise in my opinion. Fable 1 was pretty fun but Fable 2 got me hooked.

I think everyone who says "I dont like fable" has never played the original cause it was the best
