Steam Summer Sale is live right now

4.7
Steam's infamously popular Summer Sale has, as previously rumoured, begun today.

Bioshock Infinite, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Grid 2 are among the games to get deep discount in the Steam Store.

As usual, the sale includes Daily Deals, with a new list of games getting discounted on a daily rotation, and Flash Sales which see a selection of games get especially deep discounts for an eight-hour-only period.

And the new 'Community's Choice Voting Sales' will let users vote for game that they want to see go on sale.

The recently-launched Steam Trading Cards will also play a role in the sale. As Valve explains: "For the first time, buying discounted games at this year's sale now earns you an all-new collectible in the form of Trading Cards. Collect, trade and craft over 50 new sets of cards, including 10 Summer Getaway Trading Cards that can only be earned during the sale. Each set can be crafted into badges, backgrounds, emoticons and other rewards."

The Steam Summer Sale will last 11 days, to conclude on July 22.

Gossip Nice prices but not a PC fan...

yh same i personally don't like the PC controls to a lot of games

I've switched to pc for my gaming needs (yep, im that sad) and admittedly some games are a ***** to play on a keyboard (mainly first person shooters)so I use my wired xbox control where I can

Buying or using a controller for some games on PC is defiantly a plus, games such as Darksiders 2 have terrible PC controls due to bad porting.

if i have a play and charge kit will it register on the PC?
