Battlefield 4 ultra settings footage shows environmental destruction

Battlefield 4 is making use of Frostbite 3 to power some pretty special graphical effects; check out the amount of dust and debris on-screen in this showcase of the shooter on PC ultra settings.


Frostbite is pretty portable, so you can probably expect other versions to look relatively similar, but it’s pretty unlikely the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions could manage so many objects and effects on-screen.

As well as the PC and current-gen versions due at the end of October and early November, the latest DICE outing is also headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be interesting to see comparison footage of ultra PC versus the new consoles.

Honestly, the graphics don't look any different that BF3.

When BF3 came out, they made it sound like you could distroy anything in the game with the whole "environmental destruction" thing, i was kinda shocked on how not much was "Distructable"

None of the textures are colored, I'm sure to the untrained eye this would look mediocre. But in reality these are the most stunning graphics modern technology can bring us.

They do but PC Graphics are better than graphics on the console but, it won't bother me too much!

I'm sure they'll add it in or something very similar to it for the consoles. Xbox One and PS4 would seem more likely that it will be added on.


I could see the console version running on medium graphical settings, while the next generation consoles are pretty good specification wise they are not to the level of current high end computers
