Battlefield 4 ultra settings footage shows environmental destruction

4.5
Battlefield 4 is making use of Frostbite 3 to power some pretty special graphical effects; check out the amount of dust and debris on-screen in this showcase of the shooter on PC ultra settings.

Frostbite is pretty portable, so you can probably expect other versions to look relatively similar, but it’s pretty unlikely the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions could manage so many objects and effects on-screen.

As well as the PC and current-gen versions due at the end of October and early November, the latest DICE outing is also headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be interesting to see comparison footage of ultra PC versus the new consoles.

Battlefield four is one of my top to get games! They will be taking over Call of Duty soon!

Yin Looks alright, but this video didn't impress me. The debris of the building just looked to bland. I feel that I should be seeing some items from within the building (like couches, doors, desks, etc.) Maybe I am just expecting too much. I will get it later on most likely. Hopefully the upped player slots online will be more fun than my experience in Battlefield 3. That game was just too slow for me, except for Deathmatch.

You do know that this is the alpha build right?

Its still better than CoD though :)

That is debatable on the person you talk to though. I personally still prefer Call of Duty since the maps are small and games are fast paced. No vehicles also is a plus in my book. I play Battlefield as well though. Had some good times with friends on it. I just don't really like the gun gameplay in that game much. My favorite was Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. That was a great game. It had areas vehicles couldn't get into so people on the ground had a chance. Very fun.
