PS4 & Vita bundle in works, to cost about $500 – rumour

PS Vita may be bundled with PS4, if this rumour is to be believed. According to a “well-placed anonymous source” of Machinima, Sony is working on a bundle that features both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for around $500, to be made available at the end of this year.

Sony has already confirmed that Remote Play – being able to stream games from PS4 to Vita – will be mandatory to all PS4 games that don’t make use of extra hardware, such as Move or the PlayStation Eye.

I think this will be pretty cool. Sony is pushing the Vita as a big part to the PS4 and plus the Vita is it's own handheld and is a pretty strong one at that(Go watch Killzone: Mercenary gameplay :3) so this would be awesome. The only thing though is that if they do this they will be selling the Vita at a HUGE loss so I kind of doubt they will do this tbh.

What a pointless comment, the key word you said in that is "can". So if you don't want it you can go and get the $400 one. Have fun buying that $400 Xbone with no kinect....

VEVO If that is the case, I'll be getting this instead of the Xbox One. Only reason I was going to stay on the Xbox side was because I was already used to it. But myeh. All the hate and negativity has gone towards Microsoft, not Sony. I never used my Kinect on my 360. I actually returned it. Seems rather much of a novelty item. It was cool at first but gets boring rather fast. And Remote Play sounds WAY cooler than a damn camera that tracks my movements that I scarcely used.


only reason people were hating on it was cuz of lil school girls crying about...awww i can't buy used games, aww kinect will watch me do everything and i will get spied on( we already get tracked by internet tracking,cell phones, etc) so don't know why all of a sudden it's a big deal...Microsoft is looking into the future (digital) and i was looking forward to it...the Kinect was a piece of **** but now kinect 2.0 should be better now and more advanced now...The 1st one was basically a test model,,basically


I'm not doubting the potential of Kinect at all. I just particularly wouldn't be using it. My gameplay style is based around first person shooters and sandbox games. The Kinect in my hands would be a novelty item. Just basically a "Look what I can do!" device. And that's exactly what it was when I had it. I know that Microsoft back out on what the consumers were hating policy wise. But since it already has a bad rep, gamers and fanboys in general will continue bashing out every little flaw. And everything about the whole "NSA is watching me sleep!" argument is extremely ignorant in plain terms. Everyone is too dumb to realize that the other technology they hold is WAY more capable of being used against them. If anything, Sony is capable of doing the same thing on the PS4 and consumers wouldn't be aware.


Not to mention also that any game that is cross platform won't be Kinect able because the PS4 chooses not to make their camera (Playstation Eye) mandatory. Kinect is really going to only be for based Microsoft players who actually enjoy Kinect games.


So probably about 1% of the gaming community... I'm only going to use it to Skype b i t c h e s. lol jk ( no but seriously -__-)

OT: Why would they want a PS Vita with a next gen console? Its just another way to up the Vita's sales.


Obviously you didn't read the article and have no idea about how the two consoles work together... That would be the main reason to bundle it
