GTA Online has around 700 missions, says Rockstar boss

GTA Online, the multiplayer component of GTA V, will feature around 700 missions.

So revealed Rockstar Games director Leslie Benzies, who told Spanish site 3Djuegos that players will encounter missions in a variety of ways.

According to online translations, Benzies revealed that the game will always have around 500 missions available, rotated 'continuously' to keep players engaged.

Players will be able to discover missions on the map, or receive in-game phone calls from non-playable characters that will engage new jobs. Benzies says players will also have access to a more traditional list of missions via the game menus.

Rockstar unveiled GTA Online recently with a debut trailer and news that it will launch two weeks after the September 17 release of GTA V.

Rockstar has confirmed a US and European GTA 5 release date of September 17 on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game will launch in Japan on October 10.

Many people will feel it's too many, but i hate it when i complete a game in the first few days of it. This will be great!


I don't believe that it's too much at all. I doubt all the missions will be required to complete, and if they are than that just gives you a greater reason to continue in the game!

I don't think they are expecting players to complete every single one of them. I would rather have too much then not enough when it comes to open world games such as Grand Theft Auto


True, there can not be too many, this just means the game might never be completed and has a lot more enjoyment factor over time.

This is really cool, I think this is a whole new way of GTA multiplayer unlike the current one in GTA IV. I am sure we will have some fun with all these missions.
