4j Studios developing Minecraft PS3, PS4 & PS Vita Edition

It's been officially announced that not only is PS3, PS4 & PS Vita getting Minecraft but the current developers 4j Studios will be developing all console version of minecraft, this came around on twitter when the said as quoted " Happy to confirm we're developing Minecraft PS3, PS4 & PS Vita Editions for Mojang, as well as Xbox 360 & Xbox One Editions! " this could be the decision for gamers to switch from Xbox to PlayStation. It's still not said when either versions will come out or what version PS minecraft will be introduced, at the moment Xbox 360 Minecraft fans are still waiting for TU12 which is said to come out in the next few days.

Try it on PC. It's better and more fun.

Why would you be upset about playing the better version? :P

Good for MC and PS players though. It's always good to see a game I love expanding :D


Well a PC variant isn't always the better version for some people, it has other issues like lag if they don't have a decent PC etc, consoles are a great option other than the update issues.


I agree some people find it difficult with the controllers.

platyui No one is going to switch consoles because of Minecraft. The PC version is always going to be better and the console version gets old really quick.


I agree, I'm already bored of minecraft and I only play it occasionally.


All said and done, just play it on PC people, seriously the game is nothing without mods.


Nevermind the fact that it'll probably release without the current updates, meaning the 360 version will always be better.


There just going to port the updates to PS. :/


But they probably won't release with them, so it will be like the first release of it on Xbox 360 again.
