Rumor: Xbox One could launch in the US November 8th
According to a report on Kotaku, an unnamed source that works for a company that helps Walmart with their midnight game sales events has sent over a document that shows a Friday, November 8th launch date for the Xbox One.
However, that same document also shows other midnight sales events for future game releases, along with the PS4, that have the word "Confirmed" next to their dates. The list does not have that "Confirmed" label with the Xbox One November 8th midnight launch event, which could mean that Microsoft has not yet settled on that time period for the US launch of their next console.
If Microsoft does hold to that November 8th launch date, it would certainly be a major coup, at least in the US, over the PS4 and its launch time period. Hopefully we will get a confirmation from Microsoft soon, perhaps this weekend as part of their PAX Prime activities in Seattle.

Its $500 but its still too much, me and other friends agreed we will most likely get a gaming PC for that price.

YinDr-JYinDr-JYin That would be amazing. I was thinking a week after Ghosts released, but I didn't realize Sony had that date. It would make sense it would be on the 8th then. They don't want to release it on the same day as a big game like Ghosts, but they need it out very soon after release. I thought it was going to be on a Tuesday like games are, but Friday the 8th works a lot better.
It be better for so many people since they don't have work/school the next day. More people will go to the midnight release
From a customer point of view, I can kind of see that. There is still a problem with the midnight release since it is 12am on a Friday. Means people are most likely still missing work and/or school that day. From a marketing point of view, I don't think it really matters what day they release on. They most likely want to avoid Sundays, or weekends in general, though (since there are still shops that are closed on the weekend or close earlier on Sundays.)
Yes you're right, but personally it would be an awesome day for me since I study 6 hours a day and have lab+ class all day(med school). If I goto the midnight on another night I would have to study even harder.
Oh, I totally know where you're coming from. I mean, it is still a problem, but one day being messed up it way better than missing up to four. All in all, November is going to be a great month, Friday is a great day to release a console, and I would love if it was the 8th. Sooner the better.
Lol that was my first comment on the post "sooner the better". It will indeed one of the greatest days for me (gaming wise)
