More leaked photos show iPhone 5C units in their packages

It's September 2nd, which means hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer for Apple to finally and officially reveal its newest iPhone products. Rumors, along with leaked photos and videos, claim that Apple will be releasing a new model, the iPhone 5C, that will have a plastic case that comes in many colors.

This past weekend, new images that allegedly show the iPhone 5C have made their way to the Internet. The images came from the Chinese website iapps.im but were quickly removed, but not before other sites such as 9to5Mac copied and reproduced their on their sites.

As you can see in the image above, the iPhone 5C is shown in its packaging, with white, blue and yellow case versions visible. Another image from the site shows a red colored iPhone 5C and even more photos from a Weibo account claim to show the manual that will be included inside the packaging for the iPhone 5C.

While Apple has yet to send out any official invites to the media, some reports claim that the company will hold its iPhone press conference on September 10th to announce both the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 5S, a rumored successor to the current iPhone 5 with a faster processor and other improved features. Both phones are expected to launch on September 20th.

Same, I think the blue one looks awesome, I might get an iPhone 5c if it comes out.

It would be pretty nice to see all those colors walking around on the streets haha.

It looks pretty plastic-ish though, I wonder how it's made.

Exactly, not to mention these are tiny changes which could easily have been added to the 5 before they hurried to release that.

Plastic for example, I don't know why'd they stop with their trademark of metal/glass but ok. That could have been added to the 5.

Colors, do what my Lumia does and RELEASE CASES! If the phone was plastic beforehand they could just have released cases for it.

New OS, they could have just updated the 5 then. See, there really is no need to release a whole new phone for features they could have added beforehand on older models.


I agree with both of you. Apple only releases this to make money off of the clueless people who buy them thinking they have the best, newest phone out


They also buy iPhones because they appreciate the simplistic beauty that is iOS.


That's the only reason why people buy them. lol


Alot of people but them because they purely want the newest one.

I think a lot of people are confusing the 5S and the 5C. The 5C is going to be an alternative to the regular iPhone so that more people can afford it, Apple is doing a stand business move and that is to bring their product to more people. I don't think that if people can't spend $199 for the current model or $99 for the model year behind, how are they going to pay the $65 a month bill for the phone service.
