Black Ops 2 Apocalypse DLC coming to PC and PS3 Sept. 26

Activision announced that the final round of downloadable Season Pass content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will launch for the PlayStation 3 and PC platforms later this month.

The Apocalypse DLC pack premiered for the Xbox 360 version of Black Ops 2 last month, adding the Pod, Frost, Dig, and Takeoff multiplayer maps. The pack also introduces Origins, a World War I-era mode that stars the heroes from Call of Duty: World at War's first Zombies map.

Black Ops 2's Apocalypse DLC will hit the PlayStation 3 and PC on September 26. The pack will be released as a free download for Season Pass buyers, and is priced separately at $14.99.

Surprised, didn't realize how far a part the xbox release of the dlc's are and the ones on playstation.

haven't played any multiplayer, but I played the zombies once and thought it was ok

Yeah they get everything late. I believe for the PS4 they will get it later, after the Xbox One gets it first.


I could see that happening, they likely wont be stopping with next generation consoles.
Microsoft has already signed a deal and paid Activision to get the DLC first on Xbox Live. I really think that they should release it at the same time so that everyone can enjoy it and the fact is that most people would buy it anyways on the Xbox, I don't think that releasing it a month early boost sales for Xbox.

This is true like I stated before I know Destiny has a timed exclusive with the PS4 so as they say what goes around comes around in a way. Both compaines have showed off a lot and its coming up to the time for both of them to cough up the goods.

I do think its quite funny how we get it later but also pay more for it. Personally I am not bothered I don't buy them I just game share from time to time. I don't think they needed to announce the release though we all knew when it was coming (1month after Xbox)
