Nintendo 'very aware' of desire for Wii U, 3DS unified accounts

Dan Adelman, Nintendo of America's go-to indie guy, recently told Destructoid that although Nintendo is "very much aware" of customer feedback calling for unified accounts across the Wii U and 3DS eShop, there is currently nothing to announce regarding the feature.

"We don't have anything new to announce, unfortunately, other than we've definitely heard that feedback many times from both inside and outside the company," Adelman said. "It's definitely something that we're very much aware of. All development for the infrastructure really happens out of Japan, so we've kind of communicated this need in the market, and they're very much aware of it and working towards really just always improving the eShop."

When it first came out in 2006, it actually competed with the 360 and PS3. Now, it's competes with a gameboy.

I know, I actually enjoy playing on the Wii back then.

It's a console which doesn't meet the standards of the general gaming community.

I don't think the Wii will ever get really big, unless they change their market focus from being kids to a more mature audience.

I always thought the WiiU Was designed for kids it has never really interested me so this really had nothing to benefit me.

Exactly how I feel, the console and it's games are based for a younger audience and everyone is just going for an xbox, playstation or towards PC gaming. I really think the Wii Market will crash.

Same here. The only thing I would buy is another DS in the future(If they make it better than the 3DS)

This is true I would buy a DS as I do enjoy them when I have played them but I would definitely not buy a WiiU as I think the console is terrible.
