Half-Life 3 trademark filed

A trademark application for Half-Life 3 has been filed in Europe with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market.

It lists the Half-Life 3 trademark as being owned by Valve Corporation and was filed by the patent and trademark firm Casalonga & Associés on September 29.

It covers “computer game software,” “downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices” and other goods and services, according to Polygon via NeoGAF.

A trademark has yet to be filed with the USPTO.

If Valve confirms this is more than just protecting it’s IP, surely, the Internet will explode.

Honestly, it might be an iconic game but I didn't think HL 1 and 2 were as good as people said. I enjoyed the game, don't get me wrong but I just think it has been overrated by people.

I don't think I've every heard anyone say something bad about half-life


Me neither I have played it and in all honesty it is sick. I am glad they have filed the trademark for Half Life 3 look forward to playing it when it is complete.
