GTA 5 is now the biggest ever PSN digital release

Grand Theft Auto 5 continues to break sales records, as Sony has now announced that Rockstar’s game is the biggest ever digital release on PlayStation platforms. The game was sold as a download alongside hard copies on shelves.

This means that GTA5 knocks The Last of Us from the top spot. The news was revealed on the EU PlayStation blog, although sales figures were not given.

Immerse This was entirely expected GTA V has been hyped for so long. I'm glad it's in the position it's in.

Judging from the quality of the game it deserves the top spot.

I could see GTA V getting game of the year, according to meta critic it's the highest rated game of all time.

BSOD GTA was pretty decent, never got my hands on a copy of the last of us. Looking forward to beyond two worlds though, my sister even wanted to try it out
