Zampella: 'Of course' Respawn will have games on PS4, not Titanfall

Deep breaths, everyone. Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment will eventually make games for PS4, co-founder Vince Zampella tweeted. Yesterday publisher EA announced Titanfall would be exclusive for the life of the game to Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, crushing the dreams of many prospective PS4 players.

After this news, Zampella assured one fan that Respawn will develop PS4 games: "Of course we will, just not the first Titanfall."

Respawn wasn't in control of the Microsoft exclusivity deal for Titanfall – that was all EA, Zampella said. "Always MS exclusive at launch, great partner and focus is good for a startup," he tweeted. "EA made a deal for the rest, we only found out recently =(."

Keep in mind that one day, you'll be able to turn those frowns upside down, PS4 players.

I wish companies wouldn't make exclusive games, there are so many Playstation games which I would love to play on Xbox and I'm positive it's vice versa for Playstation gamers...

Speaking of companies that used to have exclusives on PS3(and the previous ones), Insomniac is making a game exclusively for Xbox One I think, which I think is really low of them. Seriously, I like that company, Ratchet and Clank is amazing, Resistance is...ok. At least Into the Nexus(next Ratchet and Clank) comes out on November 15th(oh look at that, same day as PS4). I guess they didn't have time to port it for PS4 because they were busy with that Xbox One game...

MrSick I saw a little gameplay of the game, and I have to say I don't know why everyone has so much hype about it. It is like every other game out there.

It is possibly going to draw a good amount of people away from the PS4 initially. A good move from Microsoft if you ask me

Thlack I am not looking forward to Titanfall anymore so I don't care. The Xbone is weak and costs $100 more. Wtf kind of marketing is that?

Well.. the Xbox One does have some benefits over the PS4. It really depends on the individuals opinion
