Call of Duty Ghosts double XP weekend kicks off November 8

Infinity Ward will kick off a Call of Duty Ghosts double XP weekend on November 8.

Following on from today's Call of Duty Ghosts release date, the double XP weekend will run from 10am PST (8am UK) on Friday until 10am PST on Monday, November 11.

The double XP weekend will be open to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC players. Ghosts players who upgrade to a next-gen version of the game will be able to carry over their multiplayer stats and progress from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or from PS3 to PS4.

LaserShow I will be waiting for the next generation (X1) to be released on November 22, seems pointless to buy the current gen game for just a couple of weeks gameplay.


I'm pretty sure there is the option to upgrade for a small fee of $10. In that case then it's not too bad

Definitely think CoD will do better


Call of duty is not very likely to do better then Grand Theft Auto in the first 24 hours. GTA had one of the best launches in video gaming if i recall.


GTA V broke 7 world records i think, can't see COD beating it..

Not even close, just judging from the amount of people that are on their servers while I was playing (500k) they didn't do too well compared to their past few games first days #'s. Although I do really like the game. Besides gta has a bigger potential audience, meaning it is much easier for a game like gta to outsell a game like cod which is just a shooter vs a shooter,racing,everything.

Last time I checked there was about 5 million on...
