UK Chart: Call of Duty Ghosts is 3rd biggest launch of 2013

Call of Duty: Ghosts has debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats all prices chart for the week ended November 9.

The game recorded the third biggest launch week sales of the year behind GTA 5 and FIFA 14, according to retail monitor Chart-Track. The Xbox 360 version of CoD Ghosts accounted for 62 per cent of sales, the PS3 edition for 34 per cent, the PS4 version for three per cent, and the PC and Wii U editions for the remainder.

Battlefield 4 was a non-mover at No.2, followed by Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, FIFA 14 and GTA 5.

Batman: Arkham Origins, WWE 2K14, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Football Manager 2014 and Skylanders Swap Force rounded off the top ten, while 3DS exclusive Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy debuted at No.13.

Ghosts is trash. For once I rented it first instead of buying it and i'm glad. I wouldn't waste 10 dollars on it.

Great thing CoD isn't 1st, I have been hearing really bad things about the game. I have also heard, that it has been getting really low review scores! Which, I wouldn't anyone, because CoD, is the same thing every year!

Leaving PC and Wii U with 1%? o.o I haven't kept up with this game's launch at all, but how in the world would pc end up with less than 1% of all the purchases? And people preordered on the Ps4, but not Xbox One? Am I missing something? :l

Sales, awards, ratings etc etc all say different, Just because you was everyone's k/d raiser on GTA V there is no need to hate.

I don't think it will ever pass Grand Theft Auto V. That game was a huge success to say the very least
