Call of Duty Ghosts DLC potentially outed

Upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC may have been inadvertently revealed by Infinity Ward, according to reports.

Reddit users and other Ghosts players suggest Infinity Ward rolled out a developer Moshpit playlist on the PC version of the game earlier this week before quickly pulling it.

The playlist in question featured map names not included in the base game including Swamp, Battery, Red River, Rumble, Gaza and Boneyard. Dome, the name of a Modern Warfare 3 map, was also spotted.

Infinity Ward plans to release four Call of Duty Ghosts map packs. They will be available standalone or can be pre-purchased at a discount when bought as part of a DLC season pass. It was confirmed at E3 in June that all Ghosts DLC will release first on Xbox.

Call of Duty: Ghosts launch-day shipments were down on 2012's series entry, CoD Black Ops 2, with Activision blaming the upcoming console transition for the dip.

The game has been out a week and already with the DLC.

That's shocking for any game, not only one that sells this much.


No its not really that shocking... considering call of duty since MW2 has obviously just been money money money money , theyve probably got all the DLCS lined up or a basis for them already and purposely stagger them as they know everyone will still get them regardless

The whole 'appeal' of COD DLC coming out first on XB1 has kinda backfired due to the game getting average reviews as everyone expected.

Not really the incentive MS were banking on now that the game has been confirmed as a weak point in the series and even industry reviewers are starting to be more honest about it, which is definitely a good thing cos I would love to see a COD game as good as Modern Warfare 1 this gen - still never been bested years later.

i really hope its exactly the same i really miss playing dome and i can only imagine how well it will go with the new weapons
