Playstation 4 user interface showed off by Eric Lempel

Eric Lempel vice president of Sony Network Entertainment gives you a tour of the PlayStation 4 user interface. He shows off the new and improved "What's New" screen and a lot of the other new features. You'll notice the PS4 is pretty quick going through menus and how social and interactive the experience can be. For example sharing to Facebook and being able to stream your game-play for your friends to watch. The new friends list can also show you your friend's actual Facebook photo and real name, and it's an option you can turn off.

I like this interface a lot actually.

They failed to add any new ground breaking features.

That is because it looks rather similar to the original PS3.

LaserShow expect that themes similar to PS3 will be available if they are not already, saying that the UI sucks because of something you are not 100% sure about seems wrong. That is like if I said I hate the Xbone UI because it does not appear to use TImes New Roman but I don't actually know if it does or not (my favorite font, and I honestly do not care, it is just an example); while that is a rash example the point remains, saying definitely that something sucks almost entirely because of something you are not absolutely sure about is quite illogical.


So basically xbox lovers are hating on the ps ui in simple words ... even though they don't know if it does or not


They have their opinion.

I like the look of the user interface for the PS4. It looks like a great improvement from the PS3

I have never found the 360 OS confusing nor do I get confused when I watch the XBO in action. I do get confused when I watch videos of the PS4 UI. It appears to go from metro to xmb back to metro and that doesn't make any sense.
