Xbox One party system improvements in the works

Microsoft is working on a number of improvements to Xbox One's party system.

Responding to suggestions on Reddit that party invites and chat features are more confusing and laborious to use than their Xbox 360 equivalents, Xbox Live director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hyrb said on Monday:

"I had a meeting today about much of this and I can say that things will get better. I can't offer a timeline of a list of what till be addressed first, but we are aware of the issue and things will get better."

A link to Xbox Feedback, a consumer website listing a number of issues and suggestions to improve the Xbox One user experience, has also been passed along to the relevant team at Microsoft, Hyrb said recently.

Having launched in 13 markets on November 22, Xbox One sales topped one million units in less than 24 hours, Microsoft claimed on Saturday.

I wouldn't mind that as well. I think you should be able to swear in a private conversation with your friends..


I also agree, although, I don't know how they are going to stop people from cursing while playing COD.

Considering this console was made for families, i doubt that will change.

Microsoft didn't change much other than the dashboard.
That only happened once every couple years, though.

Unbatedzz I JUST REALISED WHY THE INTERFACE IS SO CLUNKY! It's because of the tabs! They tried the exact same layout on original xbox 360 and it was horrible! If they bring the xbox guide back it will make such a better, and cleaner experience just like xbox 360. Not only that but it will actually feel like I'm playing XBOX, not a completely alien system.


That isn't even close, lol.
It is the exact same as Windows 8.
