Halo: Spartan Assault now available on Xbox One

Halo: Spartan Assault is now available on Xbox One, just in time for the holidays. The top-down shooter is $14.99 and out one day earlier than it was expected to launch on the next-gen platform. The game is still coming to Xbox 360 in January after it already arrived on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices in July.

Developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Games, Halo: Spartan Assault is set between the events of Halo 3 and those of Halo 4. In it, players take control of either Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis, completing more than 30 missions against Covenant forces. The game includes online cooperative multiplayer as well, though it will not be cross-compatible between Microsoft's two home consoles.

Speaking of Halo Wars 2, if they made that then that would be pretty awesome. I used to hate Halo Wars but after you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun! This game plays nothing like Halo wars though.


I want a Halo wars 2 so bad! I played that game SO much and just begging for a new one.

You're crazy. BF4, DR3, Assassin's Creed, and Ryse: Son of rome. Those are great games.


Had half of those already on the Xbox 360, now they're boring. Ryse is repetitive and DR3 is meh.


lunch titles this year were not that good. good but not like a big deal. ( for both ps4 and XO1).
