'Minecraft' creator says no plans for a Wii U version

Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson addressed recent rumors Friday that a Wii U version of the popular open-world sandbox game was in the works. While he did put the kibosh on the rumor, he did leave a glimmer of hope for owners of the Nintendo console.

"I am not aware of any plans to release a Wii U version of Minecraft," Persson stated on Twitter account.

"I agree a Wii U version would make sense, [by the way]," the Mojang co-founder continued. "The only reason for no current plans is we've got too much work already. I

Well if they can make an IoS version i'm pretty sure that they can do a decent job making one for the Wii U

Event Minecraft is a pretty fin game. I feel bad for the Wii U players.


It's really just overrated. Barely anybody plays the Wii U anyway. The Original Wii was way better.
