Double XP event delayed for Battlefield 4 Premium members

A double XP event for Battlefield 4 Premium members has been delayed, according to an alert posted on the Battlefield forums. Originally slated to take place yesterday, the event has been "postponed" and will "run at a later date." Unfortunately, developer DICE offers no further information regarding a specific date. According to the Battlefield 4 Premium calendar, January's Premium event should go down on January 27. Presumably, the rescheduled December event should take place sometime before then.

The delayed event joins a host of problems – including buggy gameplay and persistent connectivity issues – that have plagued Battlefield 4 since it launched at the end of October. The problems reached fever pitch this month, with publisher EA finding itself the target of multiple lawsuits alleging that the company misled investors about the state of Battlefield 4 prior to launch.

WeAreAnonym0us There has ben so many problems from launch, the game just wasn't ready yet. All they wanted was more money so they released it before Christmas.


It was ready, but they didn't test the servers enough.

This double XP event should really help with that. On the last double XP event i leveled up a fair lot myself

thats why you play call of duty but ehh, i mean i do like the additions they put on BF4 not like COD who stays almost virtually the same every game.

I hate when all of these people are like "2xp should be for everyone."

That's totally unfair to people who have bought Premium. I haven't even bought it, but I can just imagine how I would feel a company made something I payed $50 for free to the public the next week. Shit, they did that with the online passes on battlefield 3 and I felt kind of jipped off because I had only bought the pass a month prior.
