Battlefield 4 Premium double XP event today

A recently delayed Battlefield 4 double XP event for Premium members has been rescheduled. Originally supposed to take place on December 30, the new date for the event is ... today. It began at 8am ET this morning and will run for a total of 58 hours. If you've had your eyes on a particular unlock, now would be the time to log on. Here's hoping you can stay logged on.

In other Battlefield news, the "Mantle" update for AMD-powered PCs has been delayed. It was meant to launch in December, but AnandTech reports that Electronic Arts and AMD now plan to release the update in January. Mantle is expected to offer a hefty performance boost for machines packing AMD hardware.

I agree tbh, I really enjoyed the double XP in Black ops 2

Basically you're not allowed to have as much fun as you could unless you give us more money.

I'm glad the BF4 premium members didn't have to wait too long for this. I had/have premium in BF3 and still like the game.

Australians Awesome! premium member are the only people getting great action, that's awesome. Cheers dice and EA, it's not like the game is riddled with bugs and issues or anything, so many problems that a lot of people cant even browse servers, or join a game for that matter. Love the loyalty you're giving us, respect Dice and EA, respect...
People did spend $50 expecting premium events
