CoD: Ghosts Onslaught lets you play as Halloween’s Michael Myers

Activision has pumped out a big preview for Onslaught, the CoD DLC featuring new Extinction content, fresh maps and the Maverick rifle. And a horror icon. Watch the video here.

Episode 1: Nightfall is the first of four Extinction episodes extending the narrative behind the sci-fi spin-off, featuring an all new alien species and a new weapon.

The DLC also includes the Maverick rifle, a weapon that can be customised as either an assault rifle or sniper rifle.

By far the most interesting addition though is one of the four maps – Fog – which lets players take on the persona of Halloween’s horror icon Michael Myers and play through a medium-sized location featuring an abandoned cabin in the woods, a campsite and torture chamber. It even includes the classic Halloween soundtrack.

The other three maps are Containment, BayView and Ignition. Prepare for release on January 28th.

Rust....if they put Rust back in, I am going in on it. I will literally play Ghosts again for that, plus because I do play private match with friends, Rust would be perfect for that. For either QS'ing or just doing whatever.

I'm liking that they're adding maps from MW2 in, I really liked MW2 maps a lot and it's nice to have those added back in. Loved playing Terminal again on MW3 when it was added in.


Put both in, they were awesome maps.

Screw it, put Shipment in too xD


They should honestly do a whole DLC of popular maps from their past games. Rust, Highrise, Shipment, Wetwork and Terminal(again.) I would buy it for sure.

Actually it does. Other than the textures/buildings being different, the rocket is the only thing that looks new to me, but if you pause at 2:33 you'll see what I mean. Bottom middle, A flag domination. Bottom left, head glitching noob tube spot. Bottom right, spawn tube. Middle left side, assault rifle corner camping watching the center. Very middle, the jet parts from the original scrapyard. Middle to the right, B flag domination. At the top is C flag domination and noob tube/AR/Sniper/LMG camping spot. Top side right, truck(if it's still there) head glitch camping watching B flag.


It does have the same general layout. But they defiantly changed some stuff around. Also looks like (in the bottom left at 2;33) they added an underground passage way for the fuel outlet of the rocket. I think that is more of a balancing thing though as killstreaks were massively op in this map in MW2.

I was going to pass because this game sucks really bad and since I don't play MP I thought I will pass but Extinction and Mike Myers is what got me in this dlc
