It's most likely because people just payed $500 for the console which comes with a controller. I don't think they want to spend more money on it rather than purchasing games.

Yeah, but the amount of money they would have to spend to make the controllers would be ridiculous. Not much people would buy it IMO

controllers where i live cost around $80.00 (CAD) so this would be a great price XD
