Call of Duty Ghosts artist reveals artwork of new Onslaught DLC weapon

Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting it’s first DLC pack – dubbed ‘Onslaught’ – next week. Infinity Ward vehicle and weapon artist Sean Byers has posted images of the pack’s new weapon. Say hello to the Maverick.

It follows this live-action Call of Duty: Ghosts – Onslaught trailer.

Byers took to Twitter to post some artwork of the gun, which appears to work in both Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle forms.

The Assault rifle version of this gun looks really cool and has almost a kind of a dead island look. The sniper version just looks really bad to me and the scope overpowers the whole look of the gun.

Wow, you mean they made a DLC gun that doesn't look like it's for 6 year olds?

I remember in previous CODS they made some pretty ridiculous guns.. For example, in Shangri-La on Black Ops 1, that baby gun. So weird...

The Maverick is a pretty good gun, after using it I have realised the power from it.

It looks like it will lead to some pretty interesting gameplay, hopefully they don't make it too under powered

These guns look ugly and wooden, the Peacekeeper was better.

Zoidberg In the past, the DLC weapons have been trash.


*weapon, not weapons. You cant make an assumption when only one dlc gun has been released.
