Xbox Live: Xbox One sign in issues Microsoft Investigating

Update: Sign in Issues have been fixed.

If you're having trouble signing onto Xbox Live on the Xbox One, you are not alone. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is "actively investigating," according to the official Xbox Support Twitter account.

The Xbox Status page gives the following alert:

Xbox One

Signing into Xbox Live

Are you unable to sign in to Xbox Live? We are currently engaged and working hard to mitigate the issue. Thanks for all your patience while we work. We'll update you again in 30 minutes.

It seems like lately that the Xbox One's live has been going down. Almost every time I see a problem with live it has to do with the Xbox One or one of it's services.

Calyx I have never had an issue signing in, the only issue I have is that Kinect doesn't auto sign me in when it sees me.


Same, kinect barley ever signs me in for some reason.

I never had them issues eother, maybe it's just for some unlucky people.

Ahhh decisions. I don't know if I should get the Xbox One soon. Like when the price drops and all the bugs are fixed such as this one here.

Or to just ditch that whole idea and join PC master race...

Tanya I wouldn't have bought a console If I knew if it had majour issues such as this!


New consoles always have problems, they let the community buy them and use them as "guinea pigs" to find out what they need to fix.

Yui I haven't got a Xbox One yet, but I would prefer for most of this major issues with it to be resolved first. I know not all of them can be resolved though. And of course it will always have issues.


Exactly ^^ I'm not going to be getting the xbox one at least until my birthday in November just so all the issues can be resolved. And plus, Black Friday is around that time, maybe they'll take $100 off, who knows.
