Next major Battlefield 4 update due for release by early February

EA DICE plans to roll out its next multiplatform Battlefield 4 update "at the end of January/beginning of February," the developer announced today.

The next round of updates will introduce stability improvements across all supported platforms, along with fixes for lingering bugs in Battlefield 4's multiplayer component. Platform-specific patches have been issued frequently since the game's launch in October last year.

EA DICE additionally seeks player feedback regarding proposed balance tweaks targeting DMR performance and anti-air defense. The developer will weigh the results of its feedback polls and will detail resulting gameplay updates soon.

Miss Hopefully they fix the OP Stingers/Iglas. They're pretty ridiculous, it's like impossible to fly anything on that game.


It makes it pretty fun to shoot things down though.


They did a terrible job on Stingers on that game. I can't enjoy it because I like to fly things, so I still pay BF3 more because of that.

-Mark They have done a lot better than I thought with updates for the game. It seemed like a update for BF3 would come out every 2-3 months. With BF4 they have released a update almost every month or it seems like that.


BF3 did not have as many problems

Not really op with the amount of air support in the air launchers are nothing compared every time you fly a helicopter you get like 3 jets and 2 helicopters locking on to you at once

it'd be nice to seem them fix the LVG, i didnt spend all that money on a new pc to be killed by LVG spam. Once glitches are fixed etc BF4 will be perfect.

I still think it's a really enjoyable and realistic game regardless.


Sometimes it can be a little too realistic. Like I play a video game so I can do stuff that I wouldn't be able to do in real life. That's why I enjoy COD, it's so fake.

I hope the DMR's get better accuracy, damage seems okay. Plus anti-air defenses need to be sorted on a few maps, either get rid of a heli or get rid of a anti-air especially on rush, there's no point in have one heli when the enemy has a anti-air and all the stingers/iglas they need.
