PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled

4.3
Sony’s new PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled by UK product manager Ben Law. Older Vita model will be replaced as stock runs dry.

The model is available to preorder from today in the UK. Sony released the PS Vita 2000 in Japan last year.

It is 20 percent thinner than the original model and 15 percent lighter. More significantly, the OLED screen has been replaced with a new LCD screen and 1GB of built-in memory.

The Slim vita doesn't really seem to different if you ask me.

I'm glad it has 1gb of internal memory, now they need to lower the prices on the memory cards!! And, make another memory card with 64gb of memory!!!!

Sony trying to be apple.
I hate this last time they did this the PSP went from Physical copy to Digital Download. Sony should stop making different versions every so often. I don't mind them making a new one now but its just ridiculous what the did to the PSP I hope my Vita doesn't end up the same way

I'll stick with my LCD display thanks. It's already too small to hold, being out some grips Sony!

Sounds good, I like the 1GB built in memory as well. Hope to see if they changed the specs.
