As I much as I love Xbox and Microsoft, I do have to say that the original Xbox did not revolutionize gaming like the PS1 and PS2. Those 2 consoles will never be forgotten because of how much they changed gaming back in the day. If it was not for them, gaming would not be where it is today.

Yeah, the first two Playstation were unmatchable! They created gamers, I mean I know nearly all consoles can create a gamer, but the way that the Playstation was, it was crazy!

Did the original Xbox dev work on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One?
Playstation has 4 generations: PS1, PS2, PS3, & PS4.
Xbox has 3: Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One.

That was an honest question, I was wondering if it had/has anything to do with him being the developer of multiple consoles, when maybe the original Xbox dev only did one. Lol.

Yes but even if he did do one it was still rated a better console by the majority and I think personally the better one should get an award. Yes he made more but that were not rated as good as the original xbox. He also started the chain of xbox consoles which till this date still compete with sony and some might say are doing better.

I really don't get how you can say that when it was better than PS1 in every aspect I don't have anything against him but if he did not make the best console why should h get the award. Yeah it was released 6 years after but it was also rated better than the PS2 which came out at the same time. On a article that I read it said the original xbox sales were far superior to both ps1 and 2 the article also went on to say that if it was not for the original xbox games consoles today would be completely different. So what I don't get is why he has not got an award.

Okay, First off, We're comparing two different generations of consoles. PS1 competed with N64 and Dreamcast, The original xbox competed with the PS2. The PS2 still and is the number 1 selling console to date, following that in fourth place is the PS1. The original xbox is placed at 16th in all time sales, not even close to that of the 360 in sale numbers. The PS1 was much more innovative because, despite it's 6 years of release before the Xbox, PS1 was the first to use disks to a large number of people thus making it the standard as we see today. The article you "read" is complete garbage and the Xbox was only created due o Sony not wanting to work with Microsoft in the first place. The Xbox was modeled similar to that of PS because it as made to compete with the playstation, hence why there is a "war" between the two companies.
