360 Beta for Warface now available

Sign ups are now open for Crytek's free-to-play title Warface on the Xbox 360, it is open to gamers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Nordics, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.



The title is free-to-play but is a first-person co-op based FPS which was originally launched for PC in October 2013. A common gripe for XBL users has been that Microsoft has required a active gold subscription for even F2P games, that is still true for Warface once it leaves beta this spring.

Oasis Still waiting for my code and it looks like I'm not the only one. Had a look a Warface twitter and they claim that MS is handling the codes so if your chosen, MS will be the ones to let you know.

Also it seems as if not everyone will get picked, so might be best just to forget about it for now, then if you are lucky it'll be a nice surprise.


I got my code a day after. It should arrive within a week.

Nope. Xbox 360 needs to be unique and needs to have stuff xbox one doesn't. That would be smart marketing.


that's what Microsoft are very good at. That and making money of course.

Except it wouldn't be smart. Xbone is their latest and "Greatest" achievement. Most people would look at that and say "REally? I paid $500 for a system that doesn't have anything?" People want to look for better visuals and more opportunity out of the Xbone.
