Ubisoft sales down 35 percent

Ubisoft updated the public on Monday on how it was doing from October to December; the company brought in $710 million during this period.

A solid seller for them was Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag which netted somewhere in the range of 10 million copies while one of their less popular titles, Rocksmith, only sold roughly 1 million units. They expect their sales figures to reach $1.36 billion for the full year, this is a tad lower than they expected by roughly ~$500 million.

"The launches of the PS4 and Xbox One were both hugely successful, with sales of these machines more than doubling those for the previous generation and confirming the growth potential of the console market in the coming years.

Over the short term, the high quality of our titles - which is unanimously recognized by gamers - has enabled us to achieve our third-quarter sales target despite the transition period currently affecting the market."Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot"

Black Flag was awesome, I completed it 100% including DLC. It is well worth buying.

Black Flag is worth the buy, I loved it. Navigating the ship on the open seas is so much fun and so are the ship battles.

Aggie Damn this sure sucks. Is the AC series becoming the next Call of Duty in the fact that it may be dying off. I dont know why I just said that.


I think the series is getting better. In some ways it is becoming like, COD because another one is going to be released this year.


are you serious, no assassins creed has came close to number 2 and black flag was terrible
