Ubisoft sales down 35 percent

Ubisoft updated the public on Monday on how it was doing from October to December; the company brought in $710 million during this period.

A solid seller for them was Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag which netted somewhere in the range of 10 million copies while one of their less popular titles, Rocksmith, only sold roughly 1 million units. They expect their sales figures to reach $1.36 billion for the full year, this is a tad lower than they expected by roughly ~$500 million.

"The launches of the PS4 and Xbox One were both hugely successful, with sales of these machines more than doubling those for the previous generation and confirming the growth potential of the console market in the coming years.

Over the short term, the high quality of our titles - which is unanimously recognized by gamers - has enabled us to achieve our third-quarter sales target despite the transition period currently affecting the market."Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot"

Sanctorum They still make a ton of money. AC4 is an amazing game IMO.


I also think that it's a pretty good game. I personally enjoyed it a lot

Alexyy they keep making assassins creed even worse every year.


I feel like they differ because AC 2 was absolutely amazing and then AC 3 comes out and it's horrible, i guess it just fluctuates every year.

Rocksmith can't be expected to sell as well as assassians creed or Farcry. If they released Farcry 4 I will buy it right away.

I say they need to take their time with the Assassins Creed Series when making. I mean they seem to be rushing it pretty fast.
