Kickstarter accounts hacked

Accounts at Kickstarter seemed to have been hacked sometime Wednesday night, they claim no credit card data was accessed. They believe only two accounts had unauthorized activity but it is impossible to tell at this time.

We're incredibly sorry that this happened. We set a very high bar for how we serve our community, and this incident is frustrating and upsetting. We have since improved our security procedures and systems in numerous ways, and we will continue to do so in the weeks and months to come. Kickstarted is a site where people with good ideas go where then can post a thread and investors can then donate money so that the projects can get off the ground. It's a neat system and many major companies have started out using this service to become muti-million dollar companies.


Wow that is great, I might have to use it one day, but this makes it look odd I don't want to get hacked.

Snapchat should just be deleted such a bad app, The coding is like for a baby, A two year old could of made "Snapchat" no wonder it got hacked LOL.

Probably because they were extremely easy to hack, also maybe it had important information from customers than the hackers wanted.
