Xbox One Media Remote officially revealed for March launch

The remote will roll out in early March for $24.99 according to Major Nelson.

The device itself was officially revealed by Microsoft's Major Nelson via his blog at this address.

The device looks just like the one recently leaked via a Amazon Canada listing. All of the small remote's buttons glow in the dark, a true perk for gamers who dislike their friendly neighborhood lamp. It is complete with a dedicated back with OneGuide buttons while it is able to control TV and receive power and volume from the Kinect.

This is just a bad idea whoever thought this one up. Every console comes with a kinect and a controller which are both capable of doing such activities. The only difference is this one can control a TV which people already have remotes for. lol

This doesn't seem like such a bad idea. As they have said before, Xbox one is an entertainment console, not just for games so this will go along well.

Nice upgrade from the old 360 remote, that thing was pointless, I'd use this new one considering all the media options on offer.
