PvZ: Garden Warfare will NOT contain microtransactions at launch

The console sibling in the massively popular Plants vs. Zombies line will stray from the last entry in the series, Plants vs. Zombies 2, in regards to microtransactions(at least at launch.

In a recent interview with a leading gaming news venue PopCap producer Brian Lindley let out that Garden Warfare won't feature microtransactions "at launch" bit hinted that PopCap will be watching in-game metrics and fan reaction with beady eyes to determine where to take the game next. PopCap may be hesitant to use then initially but it is clear they are open to the idea due to their recent "test" to charge for players to spawn new lawnmowers in PvZ2.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is slated to launch for the Xbox One/360 on February 25th, sadly a definite PC release date has not been pinned down.

I personally don't like micro transactions, especially in games were you have to buy them in order to advance further into the game. Like Angry Birds Go!

What's terrible about a fps based pvz game featuring 24 player online, customisable characters, hundreds of unlocks, co-op, leaderboards, running on frostbite 3, no p2w (at launch), a reasonable price point and a guaranteed free dlc map pack in march?

Please tell me what's so bad about it? or do you just hate life in general??

I didn't say that all online games with customisable characters, co-op and leaderboards were terrible? i said this game looks terrible IMO, In MY Opinion! You can have your opinion, doesn't mean you have to get mad because I have a different one. By your logic, CoD Ghosts is a 'great' game since it has online, customisable character's, co-op, leaderboards, unlocks and guaranteed DLC.
