Xbox One price-cut not coming to other territories, says Eagle

Xbox One is getting its first official price-cut in the UK on February 28, and Xbox UK Marketing Director Harvey Eagle has confirmed that the deal isn’t coming to other territories at this time.

Explaining the deal to OXM, Eagle began, “My responsibility is only for the UK so I can only talk about our territory. This is about offering the best value to UK gamers, and as a result we’re announcing this new price point of £399. There’s no announcements in other countries planned, so it’s a UK-only adjustment and we feel this is the right thing to do in our market.”

He added, “The timing of this is very much around Titanfall,” and continued, “It’s about value rather than price. People buy a console to play the best games, the best games coming this year include Titanfall, and Destiny, and Watch Dogs, and if you want to play all three of those you’re going to need an Xbox One. And as we said in the announcement today from the 14th March customers are also going to get a copy of Titanfall included when they get an Xbox One, we think that’s really good value.”

If you really don't want the Kinect that badly then you can buy it on ebay without the Kinect for a cheaper price. I have seen plenty for sale. I find it annoying on how people just complain on the internet about a problem that can easily be solved by searching the internet... Also if you are really that against it then you could just get a PS4.


well, they actually should release a simple version without the kinect, because it takes so much space you can use for storage.

If u don't want the kinect THAN DON'T **** USE IT just unplug it and put it away, it's not that difficult


It would be cheaper If It didn't come with a kinect this Is why Microsoft hasn't released a version without kinect yet actually the Xbox One would be about $100 cheaper without the kinect this Is why people want a model without the kinect included
