Xbox One March update demo'd - VIDEO

Microsoft has posted a video demonstrating the upcoming March Xbox One System update.

The video itself is narrated by Xbox's Major Nelson, he goes on to highlight some of the adjustments being made to how parties and friends work on the console. The update for the console is expected to drop on March 11th coinciding with Titanfall's release. This update is slated to provide much easier access to Xbox One's friends list with is going to be "front and centre on the homepage of the Friends app". Also included in this update is the tweak to enable party chat to on by default.





As shown above, this update contains the launch of Twitch streaming which is set to allow gamers to livestream, join games with broadcasters, start game broadcasts with the voice command "Xbox broadcast", archive streams and watch Twitch streams being broadcasted from any device, including rival consoles like the PlayStation 4.

Into what it should be? It is a gaming console not a TV, Webcam, Computer, etc it is only for gaming, I am sorry, but they add way too many things to these consoles.

slapshot101 I really hope this fixes even more of the matchmaking problems we have had in the last few months. I also think that being able to watch any stream on Twitch from the One will be a very useful feature and will attract more people to the Twitch App.


too bad but either one of that is going to be in the march update

There we go. More updates. I'm waiting for the new Xbox One version to come out. Just like what they did with the white xbox 360s and the slims. Then I'll be more comfortable buying the console.
