Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios have rolled out a free expansion for Payday 2. It is currently only out on the PC but is slated for console release *soon*.

The "Death Wish update" adds a new difficulty tier known as "Death Wish", four new masks, the new '350K' brass knuckles melee weapon, 35 new achievements, and two new enemy types.

No one knows how the Death Wish difficulty alters a heist - bridges that were whole are now destroyed, skylights in buildings roofs have appeared and if I were you I'd be careful to use the wrong ingredients while cooking meth...,Death Wish Fact Sheet




This update is available free for PC players via Steam meanwhile a console release is still "TBA" according to recent press releases.

On Xbox it will be. They sorta threw us to the corner

I doubt it, I am sure they were working on it for a while, they are doing it a bit different, like Rockstar, Infinity Ward, etc make the game available (and updated) earlier on the console than PC, but Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios do PC first than console.


that makes scenes. it's hard to chose which console to play on these days because all the games are different. I'd play xbox for shooters such as cod and titanfall, but ps for horror games and killzone. meanwhile, pc for everything lol


I think they should combine the ps4 and xbox one into one console and allow both controllers to be used so everyone would be happy and could play any game they wanted.


isn't that what's the pc for? any game every game.
