March's free XBL Gold games revealed

Xbox 360 owners during the month of March will be able to grab both Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution and Dungeon Defenders for free through the Xbox Live's Games with Gold promotion.

Gold members can snag the console-specific turn-based strategy game released in 2008, Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution, between now and the 15th. The title is normally $29.99 to purchase off the Xbox Live Marketplace. Starting on the 16th through the end of the month gold members will be able to grab Dungeon Defenders through the same promotion. This title was first released in 2011 by Trendy Entertainment, a sequel is currently in development. Dungeon Defenders is normally priced at $14.99 for sale on Xbox Live.

While Gold members on the Xbox 360 have been enjoying two free games a month for sometime now, Xbox One users have yet to receive anymore news when they get some love. A few months back Microsoft released that Xbox One gamers would be getting the Games with Gold promotion "sometime later in 2014, no more relevant information has been released since then.

I'd rather play Civ 5 considering how much better it is than Civ:Rev. It's nice that it's free and all but would still love to see more current games being released.

Potion Wow these games really suck, why cant they give newer games like PS+ does.


if you get out a game for free on PS+, less people will buy it than if you release one on XBL.

SlothsEatPeople Although these games are not the best, at least Microsoft is trying to produce some free content to us. they could not use the newer games as the company would lose alot of money.


They would not lose much money as they get soo much on Xbone sales it would not matter lol.
