Titanfall on PC is a 21GB download, requires 48GB install

4.6
The PC version of Titanfall will be a 21GB download, and will take up 48GB when installed.

Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella confirmed the figures on Twitter last week in response to a question posed by a fan.

Zampella also used the social networking site to reconfirm that the Xbox One version of Titanfall will take up less than 20GB when installed.

In late February, Microsoft announced a limited edition Xbox One Titanfall console bundle. It features special edition Titanfall packaging, an Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard wireless controller and chat headset, one month Xbox Live Gold membership and a digital copy of Respawn's shooter.

While publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe, the Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Odin Here's what I am wondering, why is Skyrim with all extra content installed, WITH extreme overhauled graphics barely even 11-12GB? Which is a very large game, with excellent graphics and half the size of a game that has not even half of the content? Developers are getting sh*ttier and sh*ttier every year!

Skyrim has a large world capacity with a lot of detail, but the graphics and textures of each objects aren't detailed in the raw files, so it doesn't take too much space. and it uses a game engine that saves objects into chunks, so it saves a ton of space for the general world builder. but in Titanfall, they made every inch detailed in graphics, the maps are coded worse than skyrim, so each object stands for its own, making every map huge. it's an game engine fault, and also graphics fault.

This is a bit too much storage being took up, hopefully it's worth it!

Resort These games are getting out of hand with the amount of storage you need.. And most consoles dont even have 21 GB HDD's

if you read the article carefully, it says console will take up less than 20GB. PC version will definitely have better graphics and smoother gameplay, but sacrificed storage is not optional. comparing with that fact, console is very stable in my opinion.
