Today the Raspberry Pi Foundation announced that it has sold 2.5 million Raspberry Pi Model B units following the device's launch in February 2012. The unit was built to encourage the practice of teaching computer science to students, the device is a credit card-sized computer that offers a wide range of features and wields open-source software support catering to hobbyist programmers.

Small, compact, but I bet it doesn't have much space, or at least I wouldn't think so considering how small it is.

Eh... I don't think there is a real "use" for it. I don't know if there has ever been a real motive other than to just make cool contraptions.

emulator. It can be a little SNES, NES, etc. all you need is the Roma and you can hook it up to your tv


You have to think of it as a modern day lego alternative. If it inspires one kid to go on and create something great, then it's been worth it.
