Call of Duty: Ghosts update brings Free Fall to the masses

Activision has released updates for every version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, and alongside reams of bug fixes, the big news here is the public debut of Free Fall.

As we reported in October, Free Fall is a multiplayer map that drops soldiers into a skyscraper on the verge of collapse. If you didn't already guess from the map's name, chunks of the level periodically fall away, exposing new routes through Free Fall and killing anyone too close to the destruction. Free Fall was originally available exclusively to those who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Ghosts, but this new update makes the map available to everyone, regardless of platform.

I have only played it once and I went 35 and 2 on Team deathmatch so I think it is a okay map. But very small

I've heard this map is really bad, they always seem to come up with something just to get people back into playing their game.

Both haha, they are one of the biggest money grabbing companies out there. You can't blame them though:P

Freeb00t-XeX That't pretty neat but every time they have a preorder exclusive on CoD they just end up giving it to all fans after a few months. It defeats the purpose of preordering


I totally agree. Also, I got the Black Ops 2 hardened edition for the Nuketown Zombies, then they later released it for only $5. It defeated the purpose of getting the hardened edition.

I got this map for the pre-order bonus, but wasn't fun at all, I was pumped for a free map since Nuketown2025 was such a good map.


I played it a few times. hated it.

Call of Duty needs to implement a mass map selection vote. Just layout the whole map list and let everyone in the lobby vote on a map and make maps re-playable. Who cares if people try boosting or cheating for their levels or achievements. We just want to play. Let them boost, doesn't change the fact that they suck. People get into modded lobbies anyways, so Rank, Prestige, all of those don't even matter anymore.
